Sturdy Beggar leaves the Essex River

Tomorrow on the high tide, c. 11 am, the Sturdy Beggar will take the first leg in her voyage to her new home port in Maine.

Successful launch

Sturdy Beggar went back in the water yesterday. Could not have asked for better weather. Stott & Bobbie were onhand.

Spent the night aboard. Will check out all systems today and tomorrow. Take her to the mooring Friday.

The last bit of bottom painting being done by Rich with Stott looking on as the Sturdy Beggar is loaded on the trailer for the short ride to the launching ramp at the Essex Marina.
